The Gulf of Mexico is a gulf that has been used as splashdown location of Boosters in Flight Tests. Starbase has access to the sea by this gulf. So far, 7 boosters tried to land here, with 3 succeeding, 1 being precluded, 1 exploding on boostback burn, and 2 crashing into the sea. The others were caught by the chopsticks at starbase.
