The Nosecone Exodus was an event that took place at Starbase from the 2nd of June 2023 in which a total of 8 Nosecones, 5 fully stacked and 3 partially completed, were removed from Tent 3. This event took place to allow for production of the first Block 2 Nosecone to begin on 23 June 2023 and also saw the scrapping of 5 Nosecones.[1] It was the largest ever scrapping and maneuvering of Nosecones to ever take place at Starbase.
Timeline of The Nosecone Exodus[]
- 2 June 2023 - The exodus began on the second of June with the removal of NC33 (for S30) and NC34 (for S31) from Tent 3.
- 3 June 2023 - The exodus continued on the third of June with the removal of NC35 (for S32) and NC36 (for S33)from Tent 3.
- 5 June 2023 - NC37 (for S34) removed from Tent 3
- 6 June 2023 - NC38 (for S35), NC39 (original V1 Nosecone for S36) and NC40 (original V1 Nosecone for S37) removed from Tent 3
- 7 June 2023 - NC39 scrapped
- NEED TO FIND EXACT DATES - NC40 Scrapped and one other Nosecone
- 15 June 2023 - NC38 is scrapped
